GT Sleeve Shin Pads

Go by age: 6 to 11 years is Junior, 12 and over is Senior.

The fabric stretches a lot, so the guards adapt to almost any calf. If you are between 6 and 11 and already well grown, or have strongly developed calves, feel free to take the Senior.

The Laws of the Game (Law 4) set no minimum size for shin guards. They must be made of a suitable material, provide reasonable protection and be completely covered by the socks. The player is responsible for that.

So always pull your club sock or a Pro Sleeve over the Sleeve Shin Pads, and you meet those requirements.

The Max+ offers the same comfort, but with a larger protective surface:

• Junior 10 x 6 cm, Junior Max+ 14 x 6 cm
• Senior 12 x 7 cm, Senior Max+ 19.5 x 7.5 cm

Choose Max+ if you want more of your shin covered, for example as a defender or if you go into a lot of duels.

They are two different solutions:

• Mini Shin Pads are separate, compact guards of 10 x 6 cm with a hard impact shell. You slide them into your sock. Maximum protection on a small surface.
• Sleeve Shin Pads are built into a sock. They cannot shift and are always in place. The material is softer and more comfortable, but less hard than the Mini shell.

In short: the Mini for hard protection, the Sleeve for comfort and the certainty that nothing moves.

So over your shin guards goes your club sock, or a Pro Sleeve in your club colours.

Hand washing is best: let them soak for a while, then let them air dry.

Using the washing machine anyway? Choose a very low spin speed. Never put them in the tumble dryer, so the honeycomb structure stays intact.
