GT GRIP Tapes

Put them on before you put on your boots and keep them away from sharp objects, such as the studs of your boots or your nails: they can damage the silicone.

Pull the tape over your sock to just above your ankle. The bottom of your shin guard has to sit under the elastic tape: that is how the tape keeps your shin guard in place.

If you wear your grip socks with a club sock or Pro Sleeve over them, the tape also connects the two, so everything stays in place as one.

There is one size. The silicone stretches up to 30 cm, so the tapes fit from age 10, for youth players and adults.

Yes. Choose the tape in the same colour as your sock: the Laws of the Game require tape worn on the outside to be the same colour as the sock.

The GRIP Tapes come in 6 colours: white, black, green, red, yellow and royal blue.

Sock tape is used once and then thrown away. If you wrap tape around your ankles a few times every match, that adds up to a lot of plastic over a season. The GRIP Tapes are reusable.

Velcro catches on your socks and club socks, which makes them fray. The GRIP Tapes are made of silicone and don't catch on anything.

Two: one for each leg.

Simply rinsing them under the tap is enough. The washing machine is fine too, at 30 degrees.
